The Killing Floor a blues/rock/jam band from San Antonio, Tx. that has been performing in bars, clubs to large stage festivals since 2003, through out south and central Texas. Bringing high energy entertainment , their music is always presented honest and real from the heart, mind and soul. And going against the grain of the status quoes and clichés, it's never in vain, every musical note played is meant with conviction.
Experimenting with tones and blending various other styles together from a wide and diverse musical spectrum of; Rock, Blues, Latin, Funk or whatever feels good. Their music is about reinventing the wheel instead of recreating what has already been done. Different incarnation of band members through out the years has proven their distinctive sound has always remained signature.
We write in a way that's very unique and spiritual, without really placing much thought. We feed from our life's experiences, influences and countless of hours of the band just jamming. Either way, The Killing Floor's music has to be feel good music with ourselves first. It becomes a natrual high when your own music bring smiles to people faces just like our influences and peeres brought smiles to us. We are a labor of love creation that’s here to stay and produce music for many years to come. For those who are reading this, it is a blessing to cross path with you.
